Our Logo Journey
Smilodox is inspired by the Smilodon, the saber-toothed tiger – a symbol of transformation, determination, and survival.
Born in the gym and created from the demand for better training apparel, Smilodox stands for strength, mindset, and progress.
Like our brand, our logo has also evolved: from wild to iconic.
2013 - How It All Began
In 2013, we founded Smilodox in Hamburg without external investors, but with a clear vision.
With the strength of our own production, we dared to enter the market and turned a dream into the first step towards a national brand.
Our beginnings were small and down-to-earth: simple hoodies and t-shirts, sold from a basement warehouse. Despite back pain, little sleep, and busy minds, we never gave up.
2014 - Built on Community
Since 2014, we have regularly exhibited at FIBO, the world's largest fitness trade show.
The energy, the community, and the direct exchange of ideas have shaped Smilodox and intensified our drive to this day.
2020 - From Startup to Team
Since 2020, we have been working from our new, modern headquarters in Hamburg.
With around 50 employees, an in-house gym and photo studio, as well as our own warehouse location in Munich, we have professionalized our structures and taken the next step in our growth.
Today
Today, Smilodox is more than just a fitness brand.
